The name “Geraiku” is derived from Indonesian language meaning “my store”, therefore Geraiku is about having your own store made available to all mom and pop shops on mobile ecosystem.

Indonesia’s economy was founded on the basis of strong grass roots business principles, thus a thorough understanding of our traditional retailers by solving¬†their problems using the latest mobile technology would help strengthen all Geraiku stakeholders in becoming more competitive locally and globally.

    Phase 1 Development of Geraiku begun, started with Consumer App as its base.

    Pilot Test

    Pilot test of Mitra Geraiku begun in Depok area with 2 traditional retail stores and 6 household customers.

  • 16 January 2017

    Mitra Geraiku Released

    On January 16th 2017, Mitra Geraiku, the smartphone app for retail stores version 0.2.0 is released through Google Playstore.

  • 18 January 2017

    Consumer App Released

    2 days later after Mitra Geraiku, the consumer smartphone app is also released through Google Playstore.

    Ideabox Top 15 Startups

    Geraiku was selected and awarded as Top 15 Startups among 250 applicants for Ideabox Batch 4 Bootcamp. Mitra Geraiku received 25 partnership requests from retail stores to be trained.

  • 12 February 2017

    Geraiku as Ideabox Finalist

    On February 12 2017, Geraiku was awarded as Finalist at Ideabox Accelerator program. The new Mitra Geraiku version 0.2.3 was also released.

    Following on 3 active retail stores in Depok area joined as partners and started integration into Gemilang for Utilities Payment and Telecom Recharge.

    iPhone Version Released

    The iPhone version of Geraiku Consumer App was released on February 2017. 7 active retail stores now have joined the partnership alongside 46 customers in Depok, Bekasi and Tangerang Selatan.

  • March 2017

    Entering Surabaya and Bandung

    Geraiku enters Surabaya and Bandung with 5 new grocery stores. New stores are also popping up in South and West Jakarta. In addition with more than 200 households have becoming regular shoppers.

Responsible for all mobile related innovation, digital product guru and can do attitude with eyes for details are all Arif's strength. He's a family man and a die-hard cyclist.

Herwinto Ch. Sutantyo

Co-Founder | CEO

Disruptive thinker and the hustler in Geraiku. Herwinto is a former telco guy, FMCG, advertising and was educated as a graphic designer. He loves the great outdoor sport.

Harry Prasetyo K.

Co-Founder | Head of Product

His meticulous approach to development is due to his R&D background with various multi-national tech companies that include Oracle, Samsung, Huawei and telecoms.

Geigy Soehadi

Co-Founder | Advisor

Geigy specialties are business intelligence, insights delivery, data integrity, data security and product service management. He's an avid runner with eyes on operation details.

She's the mothership with years of experiences in managing agents at telecom company before switched gear to empowered fishermen at a New York based startup. Today, she leads business partnership with Geraiku.

Business Manager

He does all the office works from managing our merchants, suppliers and business partners. His past experiences has been in the mobile content industry. He's also the quiet one in the team.
